These specimens were used as a basis for the book; "Guide des Fougères et plantes alliées des Mascareignes: La Réunion, Maurice et Rodrigues" which is the firt popular guide entirely dedicated to this plant group in the Mascarene region. The samples were collected between 1970 and 2018, mainly in Réunion.This collection was donated to the REU Herbarium on May 2, 2023. The REU Herbarium is located at the Plant Protection Platform (3P) in Saint-Pierre, Réunion and is managed by the University of Réunion.The specimens were inventoried, digitized and integrated into REU Herbarium database with the financial support of the French "Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche pour l'informatisation des collections scientifiques patrimoniales" (AAP 2022 and 2025).
