Description

Herbier ayant appartenu à Albert Mornet (1845 - 1930), botaniste amateur berrichon. Membre de la Société historique, littéraire, artistique et scientifique du Cher (SHLASC) de 1868 jusqu’à son décès. Il en est le secrétraire-adjoint en 1872 puis en devient le trésorier quelques années plus tard, et le restera durant plus de trente années. Il débute la botanique très jeune, au début des années 1860. Il utilise la flore de Boreau (Boreau, 1840) et lui écrit une première fois le 7 septembre 1869. Il lui écrira douzaine de missives, la dernière étant datée du 9 août 1874, soit pratiquement jusqu’à sa disparition en 1875. Son herbier est constitué de 18 liasses, données au muséum de Bourges en 2012 par la Mairie de Moulins-sur-Yèvre. 1971 entrées pour 4815 spécimens. Labellisé "Musées de France" en 2013. Inventaire réalisé bénévolement par Christohe Bodin. Photographies réalisées en 2025 avec l’aide des subventions du MESR obtenues en 2024.
