Description
The Genetic Resources and Mediterranean Medicago Plant Breeding Laboratory INRA-Montpellier has led several surveys in order to collect natural diversity of the species complex : Medicago truncatula,Medicago littoralis and Medicago tornata. It has widened its collection by exchanging materials with international collections and possesses a huge collection originating from all the Mediterranean Basin. The feature of this collection is to offer a large level of polymorphism from the natural diversity. The collection is currently being screened for phenological traits and molecular markers. Different nested core collections* of well characterized inbred lines are available to the international scientific community. Numerous data are also available upon request. * Ronfort et al 2006, BMC Plant Biology, http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2229/6/28.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 2,387 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
