Description
Occurrence records extracted from selected WCS Cambodia camera trap survey data across four landscapes: the Eastern Plains, the Northern Plains, the Tonle Sap Flooded Forests, and coastal Koh Kong. Temporal coverage from 2001 to 2018, with a total of 101 species recorded. Images not currently published but available on request. Latitudes and longitudes have been generalized to avoid poaching risks, and a time lag of 18 months on publication has been used, and will continue to be used for future versions.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 21,439 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Geographic Coverage
WCS-supported protected areas within four major Cambodian landscapes: Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary (formerly Seima Protection Forest, formerly Seima Biodiversity Conservation Area) in the Eastern Plains, Chhep Wildlife Sanctuary (formerly Preah Vihear Protected Forest) and Prey Preah Roka Wildlife Sanctuary in the Northern Plains, Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary Biosphere Reserve in the Tonle Sap Flooded Forest, and coastal Koh Kong. Locations have been generalized to two decimal places to avoid poaching risks. Precise latitude and longitude are available for most records. For records with no latitude and longitude, locality data are recorded in this dataset - mostly to the level of a protected area.
