Description

Guy Roberty (1907-1971) était explorateur et botaniste. Il est connu pour ses travaux sur la végétation d'Afrique tropicale occidentale. Un herbier de 255 récoltes réalisées en 1955 en Mauritanie et au Sénégal figurent dans l’herbier MARS. Son herbier complète ceux du Lieutenant Boery qui récolta dans la même région dans les années 1920-1930 et celui de M. de Wailly dans les années 1930.Cette collection a été inventoriée grâce à une subvention du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche pour l’Informatisation des collections scientifiques patrimoniales (AAP 2023).
