Description

This is a study regarding bat activity in relation to turbine placement in the forest. To address the potential risk to bats, a measurement mast equipped with the EcoObs GSM-Batcorder was set up to continuously monitor bat activity at 50 meters height from July 24 to November 5, resulting in 103 recording nights. This setup, powered by a system developed by Laborelec, ensured uninterrupted data collection and correlation with weather conditions to help devise appropriate stop regulations for the turbines, aiming to minimize bat casualties while maximizing electrical production.
